Sage and Duke Join the Shelter to Soldier Family, Sponsored by Logomark

TUSTIN, California (March 29, 2025) Logomark, a Red Star Sponsor of the Shelter to Soldier program is proud to welcome two promising recruits to the Wings of Freedom Training Campus in Oceanside, CA. Meet Sage and Duke—two rescue pups with bright futures as psychiatric service dogs, made possible through the generous sponsorship of Logomark.

Sage is a one-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever who has reported for duty like a true star. Her eagerness to train and joyful spirit are already shining through as she builds the essential obedience and task skills required for her future career in service.

Duke, a spritely little black Lab mix with a goofy personality and a huge heart, is loving every moment of his new adventure. He's quickly making best friends with our team while eagerly learning the ropes of service dog life.

Michael Michael Bistocchi, Chief Revenue Officer at Logomark, shared, “We were thrilled to welcome Sage and Duke to the program, knowing the profound impact they will have on a veteran’s life. One of the most exciting parts of this journey was our company-wide naming contest, where each team member submitted two name suggestions. In the end, Zach Wheatley from our Inside Sales team had the winning entry, and our pup was named Duke—making this experience even more meaningful for our team.”

Both dogs were adopted from our rescue partners at Labs & More, and now begin their transformation journey with the support of our loving animal care and training teams. Sage and Duke will receive daily structure, training, and socialization to prepare them for their life-changing roles as psychiatric service dogs for post-9/11 veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and/or Military Sexual Trauma (MST).

Logomark is committed to transforming the lives of both rescue dogs and veterans through the organization’s dedication to “Saving Lives, Two at a Time.” As a proud Red Star Sponsor, Logomark helps fund the adoption, care, training, and placement of service dogs like Sage and Duke—who now become the 9th and 10th dogs welcomed into the Shelter to Soldier program through Logomark’s support. A portion of proceeds from Logomark’s Perka, iCool, and Work collections are donated to the Shelter to Soldier program, furthering their impact on the lives of veterans and rescue dogs alike.
